The thing i always wanted with my kids is
to teach them the freedom of mind. Even if it is the freedom of not being free.
It´s up to them. The following words come out from the soul of Francisca,
daughter of mine, 18 years old. I see in those words i was succeeded in that.

A coisa que sempre quis como pai e educador foi apenas ensinar
os meus filhos no caminho da liberdade de pensar pela sua própria cabeça. Mesmo
que queiram decidir não ser livres. O sentimento que brota das palavras da alma
da minha filha Francisca, 18 anos, mostram o quão bem sucedido fui nessa
empreitada.

Fui à procura de alguém,
mas não o descobri.
Abracei as fraquezas
e ganharam as forças.
Fiz de mim refém.
Refém das minhas incertezas,
das minhas tristezas.
Porém…
Encontrei-me a mim.
Emergi nas minhas perguntas,
até que encontrei as minhas respostas.
Fico feliz por me ver.
Fico feliz por me ter.
Fico feliz por me reconhecer.
