Let me introduce you to Patricia Vieira. Patricia is a very dear friend, one of those that bring joy wherever they go. And she is doing her MSc thesis with me. When i started this tour she said to me "Oh! well, then i´ve have to find the money to go along with you, sooner or later, in this trip". It was sooner. Yesterday, after a fantastic drumming nigth with some Tuareg fellows, i arrived in our place in Midelt, and there she was with this shiny smile on her face and the computer in is arm, ready to go. Lucky girl, since the drumming nigth ended up with some carpets sold by the Tuaregs, but with the condition of leading us to the SAHARA.

Deixem-me apresentar-vos a Patricia Vieira. É uma dessas personagens sempre sorridentes que traz alegria a qualquer canto. Sorte a minha que a tenho como orientanda de Mestrado. Quando eu iniciei esta aventura disse-me "Ah! bom. Então tenho de desencantar dinheiro para embarcar contigo nesta aventura. Mais cedo ou mais tarde apanho-o". Mais cedo do que eu podia esperar. Ao regressar de uma fantástica noite de batuques com uns tipos Tuaregues, ao regressar ao poiso em Midelt, lá estava ela, toda sorridente e com um computador debaixo do braço, pronta para tudo. Sorte a dela, que a noite da batucada acabou com uns quantos tapetes comprados, mas na condição da grande nação tuareg nos guiar até ao SAHARA.
E de dentro do computador da Patricia saiu o filme apresentado acima
